The Witness Slip

One of the things we at Western Front Indivisible are focusing on this year is passing progressive legislation 
in our state.  One of the ways to have an impact on this is to file Witness Slips, either for or against a bill.

You may already do this, but for those of you who are unfamiliar with this, please take note.This is the 
website where you can file witness slips.

It’s a good idea to register on the site so it will be easier when you actually file a witness slip.

And this is how to fill out a witness slip.

WITNESS SLIP INSTRUCTIONS

• Section I: Enter your name, address, phone, zip, etc. 
  For Firm/Business and Title, just put NA
• Section II: leave blank
• Section III: Click the button for “Proponent”.
• Section IV: Click “Record of Appearance Only”.
• At the bottom: Click that you agree to the ILGA 
  Terms of Agreement.
• Click “Create (Slip)”.
  Here are some witness slips to fill out this week, before Wednesday, when 
  committee meetings are happening.

  Gun safety bills are up for another hearing in the house.Please take one minutes 
  to fill out witness slips for the following four bills. This is a new hearing so even if 
  you already filled out slips for these bills, it is time to do it again. The first is as an 
  OPPONENT and the other three are as a PROPONENT.
